R&D Activities
Our R&D activities are focused on advancing next-generation battery technologies and energy storage solutions, with particular emphasis on performance optimization, safety, and thermal management systems.
We actively collaborate with leading academic institutions, including King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in Saudi Arabia and the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN). The core research activities are conducted at KFUPM in Saudi Arabia, where dedicated programs are underway to develop innovative battery technologies, including advanced thermal management solutions tailored for high-temperature environments.
Through this collaboration, we are contributing directly to Saudi Vision 2030 by developing Saudi-based intellectual property and strengthening local technological capabilities within the battery value chain. Our objective is to build sustainable in-country expertise and support the Kingdom’s localization and industrial development goals.
Once the developed technologies reach full commercial maturity, or Technology Readiness Level 9, they will be integrated into our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our production benefits from cutting-edge, locally developed innovations.
